China Energy Construction Zhejiang Thermal Power officially took over the operation of Indonesia's Gili Pudu Power Plant (Phase I)

　　On January 31, China Energy Construction Zhejiang Thermal Power officially took over the operation as well as the maintenance and repair of Indonesia's Jilipudo Power Plant (Phase I).

　　Located in the southern coast of Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, Gili Puduo Power Plant has two 125MW units in Phase I and two 135MW units in Phase II, totaling four units. The power plant is the largest unit in South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Since its completion, the power plant has effectively eased the long-standing electricity tension in Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, and will play a positive role in promoting local economic construction.

　　It is reported that in the past, thermal power construction companies completed the construction of the project and then handed over to the owner, followed by the power plant employees to take over the operation. Since 2017, when Zhejiang Thermal Power undertook the second phase of the power plant's overhaul business, the unit has been running in good condition, and the good service and established brand have been highly recognized and praised by the owner. In view of this, the power plant finally handed over the whole phase I unit to Zhejiang Thermal Power to run and operate.
